The Meet Up

A legacy of warm hubs, we host a ‘Meet Up’ at Millbrook Village Hall every Friday.

"I was made in Millbrook, my mother was born here and my ancestors are buried here. I think The Peninsula Trust are doing a lot to help the local youngsters and working hard to restore The Old Ship. The Friday meet-up they provide at Millbrook Village Hall is a great way for people like me who live alone to get out and meet people, especially after I lost my wife 10 years ago" Michael (Local Resident)

We provide a welcoming atmosphere with free food, hot drinks and interactive art activities, and an opportunity to connect, meet new people and find support.

Our Local Support Worker is able to chat to people face to face and book appointments according to their needs.

We invite other specialist organisations, such as Citizens Advice, Community Energy Plus, South West Water, Man Down, the local police, Health Watch and more to attend - giving local residents the opportunity to get advice without having to travel.
